Do you Know How Much Load a Digital Public Broadcast Amplifier can Take?

In general, in the construction of public broadcasting system engineering, the load of digital public address amplifier is usually 70% of the rated load, which is called the rated load in the standard normal working condition. It can work continuously for a long time, and the general power amplifier load will lead to damage of equipment if it exceeds.


The amplifier is designed to prevent unstable factors from affecting the circuit effect. For example, when the amplifier load increases seriously, the amplifier will enter the protection state to prevent burning the amplifier circuit, the fault light will also be on, and the amplifier alarm tone will be sent out. This situation should be handled in time.


The connected device after the output of the amplifier is also called the load amplifier of the amplifier, such as the speaker. Speaker power x1.3 (or plus line loss power, which is the capacity loss caused by power transmission through transmission lines) <=Amplifier power.


Generally speaking, digital public address amplifier should be connected to the power supply to start the machine after the load is properly connected, otherwise it is easy to cause damage. Especially when there is an input signal, the power supply is connected and the load is not connected, it is more dangerous.


Nowadays, most of the amplifiers are high-power transistors or integrated circuits, which use no output transformer amplifier circuit, so there is no such matter that the open load will damage the amplifier. But the load short circuit is not allowed, as the transistor or integrated circuit current is too large, it is easy to burn out.
